Yesterday, I traded at the Linc-Con comic con, held at The Engine Shed, Lincoln. This was my second time there, and it’s an event I always hugely enjoy.
Linc-Con is a small, intimate, friendly con, which carries the buzz and excitement of a far bigger event. And the big draw of the day is the cosplay competition, and people really make an effort! We saw everything from three baby ghostbusters and a baby Slimer to a cat dressed as Spiderman! But my day was absolutely made by the cutest couple dressed as Howl and Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle.
We were placed facing the main stage, so we got to watch all of the live games throughout the day, which are always hilarious! And we were also opposite the East Midlands Garrison’s photo booth, where all of them were dressed as various Star Wars characters.
